It’s the first time in the history of cinema that a movie has become so controversial it’s been banned.
In 1999, the Dutch director Peter Straub released the movie Opus, which was based on the works of Dutch writer J.M. Barrie.
The movie was a hit in the Netherlands and earned more than $100 million in its first three weeks on release, but it’s now been banned by the Dutch government, which said it could hurt the film’s image.
In addition to being a film about a young woman named Opus who goes on a quest to discover who she is, Opus also became the subject of a number of controversial comments from Straub’s critics.
“In the movie you see the protagonist of Opus going through a lot of painful emotions,” one reviewer said.
“But then she meets the man who killed her, and they have an instant love.
And then it’s a little bit like the love triangle in the story of Love and War.”
Straub apologized in 2009 for the film and said it was meant to be a “feminist, anti-war film,” but the movie has been banned in several other countries.
Straub was one of the first filmmakers to make movies about women in history, and his opus series was one the first to explore the lives of women during World War II.
It has spawned a number from the likes of Amy Berg, and more recently, “The opuses,” a film by Australian actress Amy Adams about the life of a female writer who was a victim of a male friend’s sexual abuse.
The Opus series also features characters like a writer who writes about her mother’s death and a man who writes a memoir about being a survivor of sexual assault.
“The OPUS is a very complex story that is rooted in both history and contemporary life, and its complex characters are rooted in all these different times,” Adams said in a statement to NBC News.
“We wanted to create a film that is both historical and contemporary, with the female characters having a complex relationship with their own history and the male characters having the same relationship with the male history of the story.”
The Opuses director, Peter Straut, said that he was inspired by the work of a man named Richard Wright, who died in 2005.
“He was a man of tremendous courage who, while living in a time of great violence, wrote this amazing story about the power of courage,” Straut said.
The story, “Diese Opus,” tells the story about a woman named Diese who was sexually abused by her husband’s former lover, and the Opus films themes are often about women who were victimized by men.
In “The Opus” women are often portrayed as “goddesses of death,” while men are portrayed as a “demon of destruction.”
A 2004 New York Times article on the film said, “Opus, by way of an opus, tells of an adolescent woman who has been sexually abused in her marriage by a man with whom she was never intimate.
The woman is haunted by these memories and fears the prospect of being raped again.
As a result of the trauma she experiences, she finds herself in an uneasy situation where she must choose between living with her husband and giving up the love she has felt for him.”
The film was released in theaters in 2004, but by 2009, the Opuses had been banned because of its “materially offensive and sexually provocative content.”
Straut has said he’s now looking for a way to re-release the film in theaters, and Adams has said she wants to make the movie available online to all women in the world.
“I would like to have the Opusa film be available to all the women who are suffering today and who have not experienced this trauma that the Opushas film has,” Adams wrote in a Twitter post in 2014.
“So we can all live in a world where Opus is no longer on screen.
The film has been a huge part of my life.
But as the Opusha are now, we are no longer women.”
The ban is the latest example of a film being banned because it could have negative repercussions for a specific group of people.
Last year, the director of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” Suzanne Collins, was told she could not work with a production company that produced “Catching Fire” after the producers found out that a film they were working on had been made about an eating disorder.
In March, the movie “Killing Jesus” was banned in China for its portrayal of Jesus.
And in August, the Cannes Film Festival decided that a Chinese film called “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” which was loosely based on a book by the writer Chen Xuefeng, was banned for its depiction of sex.
