The Oscar-Nominated Blue Opuion (Opus 88) film, which will be released on the iPad and Android devices in March, was directed by Ron Howard and stars Michael Shannon, Anna Paquin, and Jessica Chastain.
In the film, Opus 88 will be played by Michael Shannon.
Opus 89 will also be released in March.
Blue Opus has become a bestseller, with more than 11 million copies of the book sold in its first month on the market, and the film has earned nearly $2 million in worldwide box office.
“Blue Opuions’ first chapter was a love letter to the ’40s, a moment of hope for those who were caught between the war and the civil rights movement, and a warning that our country was about to be taken over by a new kind of fascist dictatorship,” Howard wrote on his website.
“We were a young generation of women, but at the same time, the world was changing.
In those moments of hope, we could also look back and be inspired by what had happened in the 1940’s.”
Opus 91, directed by James Cameron, was released last month.
It was the most anticipated film of the year, according to the Hollywood Reporter, and will be available on Apple and Android tablets, as well as on Blu-ray Disc and DVD.
