Posted May 18, 2020 11:15:51 The latest video game from developer Oxenfree, which has been making the rounds in recent years, has a new face.
The upcoming OxenFree 3D will be called The Magnum Opus, according to its Twitter page, and will let players interact with the world’s biggest animals, including an adorable penguin and a lioness.
A trailer shows off some of the creatures in action, including a polar bear, and a bear and lion.
The game is being developed by Oxenfreund Software, which also produced the previous game in the series, The Magnitude, and is based on the book of the same name by the Swedish author Henrik Ibsen.
The Magnus Opus will be released on May 25, 2020.
The announcement of the game comes as the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR headsets become more mainstream.
The Oculus Rift was announced in late February, and its price tag has not yet been announced.
PlayStation VR will be on sale in October, and Oculus is expected to release its own version of the headset, called the Gear VR, later that year.
