A young British driver is taking his Formula 1 dream to the next level by testing the new version of his own racing car, which has already won a Grand Prix.
The 24-year-old, known as TheDriver, will race a Formula 1 car for a fee at the start of the season in Opus 2.
Opus 2 will also be the fastest driver on track at the first race of the new season.
“I have been working on Opus for three years, and I am so happy to have the chance to get behind the wheel of my new Opusa, a car which I know will deliver on the promise of the first generation,” said TheDriver.
“Opus 1 had been my dream car since I was a kid and I was thrilled to have this chance to drive it in Formula 1.”
The new Opuses will be my best yet and I look forward to showing everyone around the world just how fast they can be.

I am a bit excited to be the first Briton to drive in F2,” said the young driver.
Opusa 1 and 2 have been tested for the first time since they were launched in the first half of 2018.
The drivers have not had to wait long to get a test in either of the cars.”
After I raced in Opusa 1 I had a bit of a shock.
It was an amazing feeling to get in a car and see it at this level.
The Ferrari and the Mercedes are fast but the Opusa is so much more,” said Jenson Button, who was the first British driver to drive Opus1.
The first test will take place in early September in the Netherlands, the site of Formula 1’s opening races.
The driver will also get a chance to see the new F1 racing cars at the race in Belgium, which is to be followed by the second race in Germany.
The Opus team said it expects to have a new car on track by the end of the year.”
It’s been a fantastic experience to get to the track in a Formula One car, and to be able to race for the brand new Opua2,” the team said.
