Opus files are typically created in a variety of formats, but some are more versatile than others.
OpenOffice is one of the most commonly used formats, and is often used by large open source projects such as the OpenStreetMap project.
Opus is a Microsoft Office format that’s designed to be a flexible file format, allowing for many types of file formats, from simple text files to complex 3D models.
Open Office has an extensive suite of formats available, and you can get a feel for which formats are available for each application by looking at the Opus Developer’s Reference Guide.
Here’s how to create an Opus file.
Open your OpenOffice.org workspace with the following commands: Right-click your workspace, and select Properties.
The Properties dialog box appears.
Click the Browse button.
You’ll see a list of all the Open Office files available for your project.
This is your file list.
Right-Click your file in your file browser and select Edit.
The File Browser dialog box will appear.
In the drop-down menu that appears, select Opus.
The Opus Editor dialog box opens.
Click Save Changes.
The opus editor will appear in the left pane of the Opuus window.
Under Opus, click the New Opus button.
Click Open.
The window will open with a new Opus dialog box.
Under the Opis Editor dialog, type the name of your new Opis file and click OK.
Click OK to close the dialog box, and the Opusa editor window will close.
If you’ve created a file, and clicked Save Changes, you’ll be prompted to add a new line.
You can add a file extension to a new file, as long as it ends with the letter ‘a’.
Add the file name with the ‘a’ character.
You should be able to add the file to the list of Opus extensions in the Opensource file editor.
Click Add Opus extension.
This opens the Opuses extension editor.
The Add Opusa extension dialog box is displayed.
Click File.
Click Next.

When you’re done with the Opiso extension, click Open.
